It's not often that professional writing easily intertwines with creative writing. While rhetoric is applicable to nearly any written situation, there is, generally, less of a rhetorical emphasis on creative writing. The pieces in this section come from three very different facets of my time as a student of rhetoric: my international internship in London, my summer internship at The Franklin Institute, and a unique travel writing class. Though each narrative explores a different writing experiences, the common thread is that every piece is a perfect blend of professional writing and rhetoric and creative writing. This section exemplifies both concentrations of my major and showcases how the two differing mediums can seamlessly come together.
