The summer before my senior year, I completed a summer marketing internship at The Franklin Institute, a science museum in Philadelphia. My time at the Franklin Institute brought new challenges as well as the opportunity to improve upon the editing skills that I acquired throughout my classes.  Much of the work I completed for my internship involved editing and reworking portions of the museum's online content.

Likewise, during the winter of my sophomore year I participated in a style and editing class which provided me with a new rhetorical skill set that allowed me to move forward with confidence as an editor. As one of Cicero's canons of rhetoric, the craft of editing and revising is one of the most important rhetorical skills that I have learned. This section focuses on some of the editing projects I completed both for my academic classes as well as my internship.
